The Middlebush Giant - 00:12
Arthur James Caley was 7’11? tall and weighed approximately 620 pounds. His biography claimed that he was from Jerusalem but he eventually to the US joining P.T. Barnums circus and later settled down in Middlebush, New Jersey where he gained his nickname.

Miracle Mike - 00:36
In 1945, farmer Lloyd Olsen cut off a chicken’s head but missed the jugular vein. The chicken was later named “Miracle Mike,” and he lived and was taken care of by the farmer. Mike lived for 18 months and during that time he earned an impressive $4500 a month which ids equal to $47 000 today.

The Wild Men of Borneo - 01:09
Hiram and Barney Davis were two mentally disabled brothers from Ohio born 3 years apart. They were very short men about 40 inches tall and weighed 45lbs each. They were part of P. T Barnum as “The Wild Men of Borneo” after their mother sold them to the circus in 1852.

The Iron-Jawed Man - 01:40
John Jennings may not be as famous as the others on this list, but we do know that he died in a train wreck in 1906. It was rumored that he could hold up to 1,000 lbs using his jaw giving him the nickname The Iron Jawed Man

The Four-Legged Girl - 01:57
Myrtle Corbin was born with a condition called diphgus resulting in her having 4 legs. She was able to move the inner 2 legs but they were too weak for walking. She joined the circus at the age of 13 with the moniker as “Four-Legged Girl from Texas”. At 19 years old, she married James Clinton Bicknell, and she then had 5 children.

Pip And Flip - 02:36
Sisters Jenny Lee Snow and Elvira snow were both born with a condition called microcephaly and were intellectually delayed and possessed toddler-like mentalities which the crowd enjoyed. They were called “Pip and Flip” and earned as much as $75 per week.

Puppet Woman - 02:56
Lucia Zarate was born in Mexico in 1864 and was the first person to be identified with Majawski osteodysplastic primordial dwarfism type III. She has been into the Guinness World Records as the “lightest recorded adult”, with a weight of 4.7 pounds, at the age of 17. She died in 1890, she died of hypothermia after her circus train became stranded in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The Mule-Faced Woman - 03:31
Grace McDaniels was born on a farm in Iowa with a condition called Sturge-Weber Syndrome which gave her face a strange appearance. In 1935, she entered and won the “Ugliest Woman” contest and joined the Harry Lewiston sideshow where she earned $195 a week which is equivalent to $3000 today.

Jolly Irene - 03:56
Her real name was Amanda Siebert and she was a normal weight until the birth of her child when she was 20s. After that, she put on weight until she had reached 689 lbs. She joined the Ringling Bros. Circus for a short time then she went on display at Coney Island.
